Responsibilities include issuing investigative reports, recommending contempt citations, preparing court paperwork, verifying and updating financial balances, receiving and posting payments, and negotiating payment amounts for arrearages. The technician will compute current support using state guidelines, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with other divisions and states for interstate actions. The role also involves scheduling appointments, complying with confidentiality laws, and demonstrating professional behavior. Additionally, the position requires compiling statistical reports, updating the Child Support Enforcement Manual, computing arrearages, and completing random moment sample data. The technician will appear at state and court hearings, attend staff meetings, and participate in training sessions. Other related duties may be assigned.
