About The Position

This position is responsible for the supervision and training of Child Support Enforcement Technicians, Child Support Enforcement Specialists, and administrative staff assigned to the unit. The role involves establishing goals and priorities, directing the maintenance of electronic case records, conducting routine training, and coordinating case actions with staff, prosecutors, and the circuit court. The supervisor reviews cases for referral to legal staff and ensures staff adherence to written policies, procedures, and required timeframes. Responsibilities also include monitoring system-generated case management reports and alerts, compiling statistical reports, evaluating staff work, maintaining unit time-keeping records, managing a caseload, resolving complex cases, interacting with the public and partner agencies, and advising the Director on staff training needs and unit issues.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of experience in one or more of the following areas: child support enforcement, insurance claim processing, credit or other financial resource investigation activities related to the practice of law or its enforcement, the administration of justice, or related areas.
  • OR six years of experience in one or more of those areas, and two years of experience as a Child Support Technician or equivalent.
  • Must possess/maintain a valid Missouri Driver’s License.
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

  • Interacts regularly with the general public and partner agencies.
  • Advises the Director of staff training needs and unit problems.
