About The Position

The Child Support Caseworker serves as an advocate within the Child Support Division, helping ensure children receive financial support. The role manages a caseload to establish, modify, and enforce child support orders; serves as a point of contact for parents, employers, and state agencies; prepares and processes judicial documents; and maintains accurate case records in the statewide system. The position requires handling sensitive family-law matters with discretion, professionalism, and empathy, including resolving inquiries and de-escalating tense conversations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years of experience in a professional office environment.
Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Ability to learn proprietary case management software quickly.
Ability to write clear, professional reports and de-escalate tense conversations with the public.
Ability to handle stressful situations and emotional topics objectively and professionally.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in sensitive family-law matters.
Valid driver's license and insurance for occasional travel.
