About The Position

As a Caregiver on the CareBenefits team, you will care for children from multiple families in your area. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children in your care. CareBenefits places caregivers in jobs based on their experience, location, and availability. Work is typically in families’ homes for an eight-hour day, with a full-service team supporting the part-time schedule.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have availability to work at least one weekday for at least eight consecutive hours between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
• Must have related childcare experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to families’ homes and be able to travel up to 15 miles from home.
• Must have Adult, Infant, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification before the start date; reimbursement for certification is provided.
• Must be familiar with and able to use app-based products and electronic devices.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods, bend frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds at one time.
• Must be able to work around mildly sick children.

Responsibilities

• Conduct introductory calls with each family you are booked with.
• Care for children in their homes, typically for an eight-hour day.
• Follow the schedule and rules set by parents.
• Perform household duties related to the care provided, such as cleaning up after meals, doing dishes, and tidying up after activities.
