About The Position

As a Caregiver on Care.com’s CareBenefits team, you will provide childcare for children from multiple families in your area. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children in your care. The team books you for jobs based on your experience, location, and availability, with families matched to your designated travel areas and schedule.

Care is provided in families’ homes, typically for an eight-hour day. You will conduct an introductory call with each family, follow the schedule and rules set by parents, and complete household tasks related to the care you provide, such as cleaning up after meals, doing dishes, and tidying up after activities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have availability to work at least one weekday, for at least eight consecutive hours between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
• Related childcare experience.
• Reliable transportation to families’ homes and ability to travel up to 15 miles from your home.
• Adult, Infant, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification required before the start date; reimbursement for certification is provided.
• Familiarity with and ability to use app-based products and electronic devices.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
