About The Position

As a Caregiver on the CareBenefits team, you will care for children from multiple families in your area. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children in your care. CareBenefits automatically places caregivers in jobs based on their experience, location, and availability. Assignments are typically eight-hour days in families’ homes.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Have at least one weekday available to work, for at least eight consecutive hours between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Have related childcare experience.
Have reliable transportation to reach families’ homes and be able to travel up to 15 miles from home.
Have Adult, Infant, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification before the start date; reimbursement for certification will be provided.
Be familiar with and able to use app-based products and electronic devices.
Be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Conduct introductory calls with each family you are booked with.
Care for children in their homes, typically for an eight-hour day.
Follow the schedule and rules set by parents.
Perform household duties related to the care provided, such as cleaning up after meals, washing dishes, and tidying up after activities.
