About The Position

Bright Horizons is hiring a Child Care Preschool Teacher to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services for children in an early education/preschool child care center. Full-time positions are available with preschoolers and School Agers. The role is performed in person at the Florham Park, New Jersey area center and follows Bright Horizons policies, procedures, and guidance, as well as applicable laws and regulations, to help ensure children's safety.

Teachers create hands-on activities that meet children's needs and interests, communicate with parents about children's daily milestones, and maintain a safe, clean classroom by following required procedures and guidelines. Bright Horizons offers opportunities to learn from early education experts and pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost, subject to applicable program terms.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass required state and company background checks and meet applicable state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
• Comply with applicable immunization, employment physical or screening, and health and safety training requirements.

Nice To Haves

• College-level coursework in early childhood education, a CDA, or an associate or bachelor's degree in early education or a related field.
• One year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
