About The Position

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Child Care Lead Teacher to provide a safe, supportive learning environment for children. The role works alongside teachers and families to create a home-away-from-home experience, develop age-appropriate curriculum, and support children’s growth and exploration. The posting identifies the position as an Infant Lead Teacher in the duties section and describes care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one assigned classroom. Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• 2 or more years of experience in a licensed child care facility (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Design programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment where children can grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans for children’s care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
