About The Position

The Child Care Attendant supports VASA Fitness's KidCare program by providing safe, attentive, and engaging care for children while their parents exercise. The role helps create a clean, welcoming environment that families trust, using meaningful interactions, age-appropriate activities, and consistent safety practices.

The attendant follows child check-in/check-out procedures, maintains a clean and organized KidCare space, and supports a positive team culture through dependable teamwork and communication. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The base rate is $15.00 per hour. Shifts are available during KidCare operating hours, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, engaging, and dependable presence.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space.
• Ability to adapt and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating positive experiences for children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in childcare, education, youth programs, or similar environments is preferred.

Responsibilities
