About The Position

Kaweah Health is a publicly owned community healthcare organization serving the greater Visalia area in central California. The Child Care Attendant cares for the children of members, guests, and staff while they use The Lifestyle Center. The role is in the Lifestyle Fitness Center department and works a day shift of eight hours or less. The posted pay range is $19.28–$28.92.

Requirements

• Required: HeartSaver AED certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be registered with TrustLine, including a background check, valid California Driver's License or California State ID card, Live Scan fingerprints, and fees provided by Kaweah Health.
• Ability to supervise and control a group of children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Take appointments for child care sessions.
• Provide appropriate activities for the size and mix of the group.
• Ensure child care policies are followed.
• Inform the supervisor of problems immediately.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the child care area and toys.
• May assist with kids' camp and daily children's activities.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served in the assigned unit or work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
