Child Care Attendant
About The Position
At VASA Fitness, the Child Care Attendant (CCA) supports the club's KidCare program by providing safe, fun, and attentive care for children while their parents work out. The role helps create a clean, engaging, and well-run environment that families trust and return to, using meaningful interactions, age-appropriate activities, and consistent safety practices. The position offers flexible scheduling during KidCare operating hours: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The base rate is $11.40 per hour. Employees may bring their children to KidCare for free while working and receive two complimentary gym memberships—one for themselves and one to share. Employees are also eligible to participate in 401(k) options and the Employee Assistance Program, which includes therapy, financial advising, legal advice, and more.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- Friendly, engaging, and dependable presence.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space.
- Ability to adapt and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for creating positive experiences for children and families.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children in childcare, education, youth programs, or similar environments.
Responsibilities
