About The Position

AWARE is hiring a full-time Child and Family Support Specialist in Missoula, Montana. The role provides support to children and families in the community, working closely with AWARE’s Clinical Professionals and delivering services according to prescribed curriculum lesson plans and treatment plans. The specialist assesses clients, families, and their environments; coordinates a team process to develop comprehensive Individualized Treatment Plans; and helps identified children and families access medical, social, educational, vocational, and recreational services. The starting pay range is $21.00–$26.08 per hour.

Requirements

Thorough understanding of human services, resources, and tools.
Ability to assess clients and families from a strengths-model perspective and develop a theoretical perspective.
Ability to work with a variety of people.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

A BS/BA degree in a human-services-related field is preferred; an equivalency may be considered based on documented work history, education, and volunteer experience.

Responsibilities

Work closely with AWARE’s Clinical Professionals to provide services as assigned and developed through prescribed curriculum lesson plans.
