About The Position

Professional and warm federally qualified health center seeks a Child / Adolescent Psychiatrist to work in a tele psych setting! This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule. The role is 100% outpatient and involves seeing 1-2 patients per hour depending on whether they are new or follow-ups. There is shared call with the adult med team, with RNs and NPs handling initial calls. The psychiatrist will join a team that includes 1 Adult Psychiatrist and 1 PMHNP.

Requirements

• BE/BC Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist
• TX and IL license required

Nice To Haves

• Spanish speaking patients and many other patients speaking many languages

Responsibilities

• Provide tele psych services to child and adolescent patients.
• See 1-2 patients per hour (new or follow-ups).
• Participate in shared call with the adult med team.
