About The Position

The Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB) Summer Internship Program is a nine-week paid summer internship designed for driven Cherokee Nation citizens looking to gain real-world experience. It offers immersion in real projects, with real people, and real impact. CNB is a dynamic, tribally owned enterprise committed to innovation, economic growth, and cultural preservation, with operations across various sectors. Interns will gain hands-on learning with leaders, build their network, and contribute to a mission-driven culture grounded in Cherokee values.

Requirements

• Cherokee Nation citizen with valid CDIB or Citizenship card
• Enrolled in a four-year accredited college
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Strong communication, collaboration, and independent problem-solving skills
• Curious, enthusiastic, and ready to make an impact

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real business goals across CNB departments including Finance & Accounting, Information Technology & Cybersecurity, Real Estate, Marketing & Communications, Human Resources & Talent Development, Legal & Compliance, Economic Development, and Cherokee Film & Cultural Initiatives.
• Participate in leadership mentorship.
• Attend career-building workshops.
