Chemistry Grading TA

Bethel University Student Employment OpeningsSaint Paul, MN
Hybrid

About The Position

In this position, you will assist professors with grading a variety of coursework, including lab reports, quizzes, homework assignments, and exams. Expectations Communicate with your instructor and ask questions about how they want assignments graded prior to starting to grade. Ask for clarification when you are unsure about how to grade a particular item. Grade papers away from other distractions as they produce inefficient work and can cause changes in grading between students. Keep all aspects of grading (scores, student names, general performance,…) private from others. When possible, grade the front page, with the name, and then flip all assignments to the next page and grade blind of the owner of each. Once you have begun grading an assignment or a problem, do not stop until you have finished that portion completely. Above all, be fair to each student and be consistent. Return assignments as directed by instructor. Students must complete FERPA training and abide by school FERPA policies. Other duties as assigned.
