About The Position

Eurest is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role includes full culinary management of the operation and responsibility for its success. The Chef Manager will oversee food-service inventory, ordering, and receiving; develop menus; manage costs and purchasing; and focus on sourcing and using local food products. A passion for sustainability is desired. The position is part of Eurest, a Compass Group USA company that provides dining services in corporate cafes and executive dining rooms, including on-site catering and vending.

Requirements

Working knowledge of HACCP.
Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, a fine dining setting, or a restaurant, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Experience with exposition cooking.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
ServSafe certification.
