This position is for a Varsity Assistant Coach for Cheer Competitive for the 2026-2027 season. Effective January 1, 2026, and in accordance with California Education Code Section 44051(a)(1), any applicant for a non-teaching position must disclose a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school, state special school and diagnostic center operated by the department of education, and private school that the applicant has previously been an employee of, including full-time, part-time, or substitute roles. Failure to provide this information may be considered an act of dishonesty and could affect hiring decisions. The position requires knowledge of fundamental and advanced cheerleading skills and techniques, the ability to teach, enforce, advocate, and model appropriate behavior and educational values, and adherence to the National Federation of High Schools Coaches Code of Conduct and the California Interscholastic Federation Coaches Code of Conduct. Sport experience is required, and experience working with youth is preferred. The position is open until filled. A one-time stipend is paid out at the end of each coaching season: Fall Coaching in December, Winter Coaching in March, and Spring Coaching in June.
