About The Position

This position is for a Varsity Competition Cheer Coach. The coach will be responsible for leading the cheer program, ensuring knowledge of rules and skills, promoting good sportsmanship, and adhering to VHSL rules. The role requires working well with children and having a program-centered approach.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in the sport.
• Program centered approach.
• Specific skills in cheerleading.
• Exhibits good sportsmanship.
• Knowledge of VHSL rules.
• Works well with children.
• Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
• Must submit a standard on-line application.
• Must submit two letters of reference.
• Must submit a recent TB test or screening.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach.
