About The Position
This position is for a Varsity Sideline Cheer Coach. The coach will be responsible for leading the cheerleading program, ensuring adherence to rules and good sportsmanship, and working effectively with children. Knowledge of VHSL rules is required.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in cheerleading.
- Program centered approach.
- Specific skills in cheerleading.
- Exhibits good sportsmanship.
- Knowledge of VHSL rules.
- Works well with children.
- Submit a standard on-line application.
- Submit two letters of reference.
- Submit a recent TB test or screening.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach.
- Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
