About The Position
The Checker is responsible for verifying that inbound and outbound inventory matches. This role works Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends, from 11 AM until completion. The position is located in Austin, Texas. Starting pay ranges from $18.76 to $22.60 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Strong math skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree.
- Prior warehouse, inventory, or auditing experience.
- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Physically count inventory to ensure load accuracy at check-in and check-out.
- Maintain required records.
- Enter inventory data using a handheld device.
- Visually inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles, including climbing onto trucks and manually opening bay doors.
