About The Position
The Checker is responsible for verifying that inbound and outbound inventory matches. The position is based in Corpus Christi, Texas, and works Monday through Friday from 2 PM until completion. Starting pay ranges from $17.81 to $21.54 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Strong math skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree.
- Prior warehouse, inventory, or auditing experience.
- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Ensure load accuracy at check-in and check-out by physically counting.
- Maintain required records.
- Enter inventory data using a handheld device.
- Visually inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles, including climbing onto trucks and manually opening bay doors.
