About The Position

YoBrands, part of The Rank Group, is an online gaming operator serving Spanish and Portuguese markets. The company provides bingo, casino and sports betting through four brands: Enracha, YoCasino, YoBingo and YoSports. It operates offices in Barcelona, Ceuta and Malta and offers bingo and slots software, games from leading providers, and live shows.

The Chat Moderator will help create an active, friendly and entertaining experience in YoBrands' bingo rooms. The role involves welcoming and engaging players, starting conversations, running chat activities and representing the brand. The person may also contribute to Portuguese-language social media and marketing content, including informal or user-generated-content-style formats.

This is a part-time role based in Malta, approximately 24 hours per week on a flexible rota. Work is mainly required during evenings, late nights and weekends, with schedules adapted to player activity, campaigns, jackpots and business needs. Additional hours may be offered by prior agreement.

Requirements

• Fluent Portuguese, with strong written communication, spelling and grammar.
• A good level of English for communication with the wider team.
• Comfort chatting with people and managing live online conversations.
• Confidence using everyday digital tools, chat platforms and email.
• Friendly, positive and naturally engaging, with comfort bringing personality, energy and fun to conversations.
• Reliable and flexible, and willing to work evenings, late nights and weekends.
• Calm and sensible when dealing with difficult conversations.
• Creative, proactive, willing to share ideas, and a positive team player willing to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service, community, moderation, entertainment, bingo or gaming experience.
• An interest in online entertainment, digital communities or social media.
• Confidence creating social media content or appearing on camera.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage players, helping create a fun, friendly and positive atmosphere.
• Keep bingo rooms active through live conversation, chat games, promotions, jackpots and other activities.
• Represent the brand in a natural, professional and engaging way.
• Answer general questions and refer matters to Customer Support or another team when appropriate.
• Share useful player feedback, ideas and trends with the wider team.
• Suggest ways to make the bingo experience more social and entertaining.
• Where appropriate, participate in Portuguese-language social media and marketing content, including informal or UGC-style formats.
• Support other reasonable duties and activities related to the role, player engagement and wider business needs.
• Occasionally participate in approved social media, promotional or marketing content as part of the brand ambassador element of the role.
