About The Position

Armor Health is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse to join its team at St. John's County Jail. The role is for a working RN in a busy clinic and requires strong time-management skills. The Charge RN coordinates daily patient-care activities, ensures physician orders are implemented and encounters are documented, and oversees direct nursing care, staffing, quality assurance, and infection control. The position also includes leading and training employees and coordinating services with other patient-care units and allied services.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance, including a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and coordinate daily patient-care activities to ensure physician orders are fully implemented and patient encounters are documented using the POMR format.
• Schedule staff and patients to maintain complete patient-care coverage and provide effective patient services.
• Lead, guide, and train employees on related processes and expectations.
• Oversee and provide direct nursing care and consultation to patients.
• Coordinate services with other patient-care units and maintain communication with allied services.
• Oversee quality-assurance and infection-control activities and compliance with operational standards.
