About The Position

Texas Health is hiring a PRN Charge Registered Nurse for its Progressive Cardiac Care Unit at Texas Health Dallas in Dallas, Texas. The position works varied, as-needed night hours, with rotating weekends and holidays required. The Charge RN directly assists unit leadership by providing staff guidance and support, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring unit operational tasks are completed. Requirements

Nursing diploma required.
Associate degree from an accredited nursing program required.
One year of experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon hire.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required before providing independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Two years of strong medical telemetry experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
