About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff RN to join its hospital-based team and provide specialized nursing care using a multidisciplinary approach. Nurses at MultiCare participate in clinical decision-making, communicate openly with colleagues, receive support for professional development, and contribute to the organization’s nursing goals. The role is at MultiCare Covington Medical Center, a 58-bed hospital serving southeast King County.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
Current BLS certification required.
ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certification in a specialty area preferred.
One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
Use nursing education and experience to provide care according to the nursing process and hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost efficiency.
Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team.
Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
