About The Position
The Charge Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care. Aligned with Nursing Leadership, the Charge Nurse provides leadership by collaborating with medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting. The Charge Nurse serves as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for staff. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. PAM Health describes a collaborative work environment with colleagues and leadership and exposure to a variety of patient-care levels. Requirements
- Current RN license in the state where applying.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- At least three years of inpatient telemetry or critical care nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Charge Nurse or supervisory experience.
- CCRN certification.
- A high level of comfort working with complex disease processes, ventilators, tracheostomies, and invasive and non-invasive monitoring techniques.
