About The Position

Messiah Lifeways is seeking a part-time Charge Nurse for its Enhanced Living (Personal Care) team at Messiah Home in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The role supports adults aged 55 and older, leading and supporting the Neighborhood Care Team and helping deliver compassionate, person-centered care. The schedule is a night shift from 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., including every other weekend and holiday.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
• Hold an active, unencumbered Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in gerontology or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Assess and monitor resident health and promptly communicate changes.
• Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person-centered care.
• Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and other team members.
• Collaborate on individualized care plans.
• Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance.
