About The Position
Messiah Lifeways is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse for its Enhanced Living (Personal Care) team at Messiah Home in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The role supports adults age 55 and older and involves leading and supporting the Neighborhood Care Team while providing compassionate, person-centered care. The position is a night shift from 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with every-other-weekend and holiday work. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to those who qualify.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
- Active, unencumbered Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in Gerontology or Long Term Care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately.
- Assess and monitor resident health and promptly communicate changes.
- Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person-centered care.
- Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and other team members.
- Collaborate on individualized care plans.
- Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
