About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to coordinate the delivery of nursing care. Working in alignment with Nursing Leadership, the Charge Nurse provides leadership in collaboration with medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting. The Charge Nurse also serves as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for staff. The position is listed as full-time nights at Corpus Christi Rehab. Requirements
- RN license in the state where applying.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU roles. The posting also states ACLS is required after 90 days of employment and that PAM Health can help employees obtain it.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
