About The Position

Priority Management Group is seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to assigned residents and contribute to nursing services in a long-term senior care setting. The role works with the Medical Director, attending physicians, the Director of Nursing, assistant directors of nursing, and clinical staff. The position is listed as PRN, with any shift, at PMG OPCO in Mesquite, Dallas, Texas.

Requirements

• Hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Confer with the Medical Director and attending physician regarding assigned residents.
• Consult with physicians concerning resident evaluations.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and developing nursing services for residents.
• Help team members grow their careers.
• Examine residents and their records and charts to distinguish normal from abnormal findings and recognize early signs of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems.
• Complete administrative duties for assigned residents, including medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.
