Chargé de comptes bilingue

FloatQuebec, QC

About The Position

Float is seeking a bilingual Senior Account Manager to join its rapidly growing sales team. This role is central to Float's growth, targeting increasingly larger clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering concrete sales results, combining strategic vision with relentless execution and a consultative approach focused on providing real client solutions. This position is fully remote, based in Quebec. You will primarily work from home, with occasional travel to our Toronto office for team meetings, important events, and in-person gatherings. Comfort with autonomous and asynchronous work is essential.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism: Fluency in both written and spoken French and English, with the ability to switch seamlessly between them when interacting with prospects, clients, and colleagues across Canada. Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required due to regular correspondence with clients, suppliers, and business partners outside Quebec, as well as with colleagues in other provinces.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in B2B technology sales, ideally in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Market Understanding: Prior experience with accounting or finance-related products, or close collaboration with finance professionals. Possess business acumen, a commercial mindset, and a focus on return on investment (ROI).
  • Results-Oriented: A track record of exceeding sales goals and targets, motivated by new challenges. Willingness to make difficult decisions to achieve broader business objectives.
  • Excellent Communicator: Ability to tailor communication to the audience to gain buy-in and mobilize clients. Present ideas with confidence, clarity, and rigor. Impeccable writing and communication skills, with the ability to connect with any team within an organization.
  • Empathetic and Approachable: Quickly establish trust and credibility with potential clients. Ability to grasp and synthesize diverse perspectives and opinions. Client-centric approach, with a talent for translating client needs into product offerings.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, move with agility, and know how to bounce back from objections. Motivated by creatively solving problems and overcoming obstacles, while also knowing when to slow down for strategic thinking.
  • Ownership Mentality: Set high standards for oneself and others, fostering a culture of excellence and tenacity. Eager to roll up your sleeves to build and make an impact quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Adopt a consultative sales approach to guide clients through every stage, from initial contact to closing. Emphasis is on added value and strategic advice, rather than just selling products or services.
  • Develop a portfolio of new mid-market clients, ranging from 20 to 500 employees and more.
  • Aim for both individual and collective sales objectives, consistently meeting monthly targets.
  • Manage and advance your pipeline of potential clients while handling the entire sales cycle—from discovery to demonstration, negotiation, and closing.
  • Approach each transaction with the client as the top priority. Build relationships and identify the needs of key stakeholders to create added-value opportunities.
  • Act as the client's voice and collaborate closely with our marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a consistent and integrated experience.
  • Relay market signals to fuel innovation and improvement of our products.
  • Share your ideas and contribute to building a world-class sales team.
  • Collaborate with the financial teams of some of Canada's most thriving companies across various sectors.
