About The Position

8x8 is hiring an entry-level, full-cycle sales representative for its wholesale Microsoft Teams Voice channel business. The role focuses on recruiting and activating Microsoft ecosystem partners—including CSP resellers, MSPs, VARs, agencies, advisors, and distributors—and helping them sell 8x8’s Microsoft-certified Teams voice services. The representative builds a territory, develops partner relationships, and turns partners into recurring producers. This role is designed for an early-career candidate; channel or telecom experience is not required, and structured training and coaching are provided. The position includes a two-week onboarding sprint covering Microsoft Teams Voice, UC, and AI Studio. After ramping, the representative should expect to travel 50% or more within their territory and work in the office at least four days per week when not traveling. Compensation includes a stated base salary of $60,000–$75,000 plus uncapped commissions, with commissions based on activated seats and recurring revenue and accelerators above plan. The posting also includes a separate salary range of $162,800–$244,200, while noting that applicable pay depends on work location and other factors.

  • Able to open doors and build a persuasive sales story.
  • Willingness to develop disciplined CRM, forecasting, and follow-up practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage with partner executives.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Silicon Valley.
  • Able to work in the office at least four days per week when not traveling.
  • Willing to travel 50% or more in the territory once ramped.

  • Coach partners through initial deals and develop repeatable sales motions that make Teams voice a standard line item on their Teams quotes.
  • Run displacement sales motions against incumbent voice providers and services.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information in Salesforce and provide weekly forecasts.
  • Work with Microsoft field and partner teams to source partners and co-sell into joint accounts.

  • Partner with the 8x8 Channel organization to activate Teams voice within existing 8x8 partners.
  • Coordinate with Channel Ops, Order Management, and Billing to support clean onboarding, deal registration, and invoicing.
