Channel Sales Associate - CPA
About The Position
Paychex is hiring a Channel Sales Associate to help small businesses with 1–99 employees manage workforce needs through payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance solutions. The role focuses on generating new business through CPA referral partners, existing-client referrals, and outbound outreach. The associate builds partner relationships, conducts high-volume daily sales activity, and owns the sales process from prospecting through closing. The sales cycle is typically 1–2 weeks. This is an early-career opportunity in a fast-paced, high-growth sales environment, with performance incentives and award trips.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or marketing role.
- Relevant sales experience of 1–5 years is identified for early-career candidates.
- Comfort with high activity, fast sales cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
- Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation.
- Coachability and ability to quickly apply feedback.
- Experience working toward goals or quotas in sales or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through work, school, nonprofits, clubs, or other organizations.
