About The Position

Paychex is hiring a Channel Sales Associate to help small businesses with 1–99 employees succeed by offering HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance solutions. The role generates new business through trusted referral partners, including CPAs, as well as outbound outreach and client referrals. The associate builds relationships, develops a sales pipeline through frequent daily activity, and manages a fast-paced sales cycle, typically lasting 1–2 weeks. The position owns the sales process from prospecting through closing and offers an opportunity to develop sales skills in a high-volume, high-growth environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or marketing role.
• The posting describes the target candidate as an early-career sales professional with 1–5 years of relevant experience.
• Comfort with high activity levels, fast sales cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
• Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation.
