About The Position

Paychex is hiring a Channel Sales Associate to help small businesses with 1–99 employees succeed through HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance solutions. The role generates business through referral partners, including CPAs, client referrals, and outbound outreach. It involves building trusted relationships, managing a high-volume pipeline and a fast sales cycle, and owning the process from prospecting through closing. The position is suited to early-career sales professionals who are resilient, competitive, coachable, comfortable with frequent sales activity, and motivated by goals and incentives.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or marketing role.
Comfort with high activity levels, fast sales cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation.
Coachability and the ability to quickly apply feedback.
Experience working toward goals or quotas in sales or a similar environment.
Demonstrated leadership experience through work, school, nonprofits, fraternities or sororities, clubs, or other organizations.
High school diploma.

Responsibilities
