About The Position

Paychex is hiring a Channel Sales Associate to help small businesses with 1–99 employees succeed through HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance solutions. The role focuses on building trusted relationships with CPA referral partners and existing clients, generating opportunities through referrals and outbound outreach, and managing sales from prospecting through closing. It involves high-volume daily activity and a fast-paced sales cycle, typically lasting 1–2 weeks.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or marketing role.
Comfort with high activity levels, fast sales cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation.
Coachability and ability to apply feedback quickly.
Experience working toward goals or quotas in sales or a similar environment.
Demonstrated leadership experience through work, school, nonprofits, clubs, or other organizations.
