About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Change Manager to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Education / Training / Certification: Candidate must meet ONE: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering; OR Relevant DoD/Military training (e.g., Cyber 101; IT Project Manager (Advanced) Playlist); OR Relevant certifications (examples below).
  • Experience: Change/release management, ITSM, or operations experience with at least 3 years in enterprise change roles supporting 24/7 environments.
  • Skills: Change governance, CAB facilitation, impact analysis, stakeholder coordination, configuration management, audit readiness, and reporting/dashboard design.
  • Acceptable Certifications (one or more preferred) RCCE Level 1, CCISO, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CISSP‑ISSEP, CISSP‑ISSMP, DAWIA PM Advanced, FITSP‑A, FITSP‑M, GFACT, GSLC

Nice To Haves

  • Prior ARNG/DoDIN/DoD change management or NOC release coordination experience
  • Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow/Remedy), CMDB integrations, and multi‑domain (NIPR/SIPR) release coordination
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, IAVM processes, RMF/eMASS evidence needs, and ITIL practices

Responsibilities

  • Manage RFC lifecycle: intake, impact analysis, scheduling, approvals, implementation coordination, and closure.
  • Convene and/or support Change Control Boards (CCBs)/ECABs; document impact, risks, rollback plans, dependencies, and approval decisions.
  • Validate change readiness with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and program teams to reduce risk to production, COOP, staging, and test environments.
  • Maintain and publish change schedules, calendars, and cross-domain coordination to avoid conflicts and preserve critical paths.
  • Track and report change metrics (volume, approval cycle time, success rate, rollbacks) and maintain dashboards for leadership.
  • Enforce change documentation standards, change records, and communication plans; ensure change evidence is available for audits and RMF/eMASS submissions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of change processes, CAB effectiveness, and change governance.
  • Support post‑implementation reviews, lessons learned, and configuration baseline updates.
