About The Position

OSC EdgeTech, LLC is seeking a talented Change Manager to join the team. OSC EdgeTech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. Position Overview The Change Manager is responsible for operational readiness and the safe deployment of technical and process initiatives as defined by organizational goals and objectives. This position assists the customer with managing all aspects of change associated with system implementations, technology upgrades, and business process modifications. This includes oversight and leadership of all change control and project team activities. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management processes, strategies, and plans that maximize system stability while minimizing operational disruption. The Change Manager will work with the program management team and technical leaders to ensure the successful testing, deployment, and implementation of changes that impact the organization, ensuring benefit realization and the achievement of operational outcomes.

Requirements

  • Ability to execute change management strategies and partner with organizational team leads in the design, development and implementation of plans.
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in end-user training strategy.
  • Competent in diagnosing individual and organizational performance improvement needs, matching intervention methodology with needs and determining the appropriate development measures.
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, good listening skills with ability to effectively coach and mentor others; must be able to lead by influence.
  • Must have at least an active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science/Management preferred). In lieu of a degree, must have seven years of related work experience.
  • Five or more years’ experience with medium-to-high complexity change management projects.
  • Project management experience with demonstrated experience in computer-based tools used for project management.
  • PMP or Industry-Approved Certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading the design and implementation of Change Management strategies in support of IT programs/projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement change control processes, strategies, and release plans.
  • Supervise execution of activities related to change implementation and system/operational readiness.
  • Manage resolution of potential technical, process, or deployment conflicts.
  • Communicate and coordinate with technical stakeholders on change initiative progress, requirements, and deployment schedules to ensure operational readiness.
  • Work with process teams to ensure new design elements are properly documented, tested, and incorporated into release schedules.
  • Perform change impact analysis identifying potential system, operational, and project risks.
  • Identify and anticipate deployment challenges and/or technical conflicts; develop risk mitigation plans by completing change readiness assessments.
  • Coordinate initiatives to ensure system configurations, policies, and business practices are aligned prior to technical deployments.
  • Manage change requests (CRs) and rollout activities within the Change Control/Release Roadmap.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and deliver deployment briefings as required.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the customer at technical and operational levels.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Assist with the development of a detailed implementation plan and integration of the Change Control plan into the overall project plan.
  • Identify, track, report, and resolve deployment issues.
  • Provide regular updates to the Program Manager and other Stakeholders as requested.
  • Assess readiness, risks, and dependencies of the Deployment/Transition Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
