About The Position

Perry Local Schools is hiring a Certified Van Driver in its Transportation department to transport students, including students with special needs. The position is based in Perry, Ohio. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM–9:15 AM and 1:30 PM–4:00 PM. Compensation is $16.50 per the OAPSE Local #367 Negotiated Agreement. The position is available October 12, 2026, and applications are accepted until filled.

Requirements

• Complete a criminal record background check.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Complete a T8 physical.
• Have School Van Driver Certification or be able to obtain it.
• Meet statutory pre-employment requirements, including submission of recommendations from prior employer(s).
• Be able to work with students.

Responsibilities
