About The Position

DARCARS of Fairfax is hiring a Certified Technician / Mechanic. The role involves professional automotive repair in a modern shop equipped with factory diagnostic tools. The dealership says it will keep technicians’ bays full and offers a Monday-through-Friday schedule with no weekends. A four-day workweek may be discussed for highly skilled candidates.

Compensation is $30–$50+ per hour on a flat-rate basis, depending on experience, with a seniority bonus that can exceed $8,500 per year. The dealership also offers a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 based on level and experience. Ongoing training, including ASE training, certification and recertification, and VSI training, is fully funded. Fully trained candidates may discuss mentoring newer technicians under a salary-plus-commission compensation plan.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Own a master set of tools.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Demonstrate a strong drive to flag high hours and fix repairs correctly the first time.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional automotive repair and strive to fix vehicles correctly the first time.
• Follow other instructions and perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by a supervisor.
