About The Position

Moore Tires is hiring an experienced, self-motivated Automotive Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while providing thorough service to customers. The mechanic tests vehicles before and after service, records diagnostic findings, recommends repairs that address customer concerns, and performs maintenance and repairs according to company procedures. The company is family-owned and offers training, ASE certifications, incentives, and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• Meet or exceed standards set by industry-recognized trade organizations.
• Have some or limited training in automotive repair, with a demonstrated ability and desire to learn and develop further.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Have entry-level knowledge of computer equipment and applicable software applications.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test-drive each vehicle before service or repair.
• Inspect vehicles to diagnose issues and record findings.
• Recommend thorough repairs that address customer concerns.
• Perform oil changes and tire services when needed.
• Conduct repairs according to company procedures.
• Replace parts and components with high-quality parts.
• Confirm repairs and services with a thorough test drive.
