About The Position

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center- Woodlands Parkway, a member of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is hiring a PRN Surgical Technologist. The center provides ambulatory surgical services and focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care in a safe and efficient environment.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence as a member of the surgical team. The role prepares and maintains supplies, instruments, and equipment related to procedures; supports the Surgery Center’s philosophy, objectives, and goals; and participates in quality improvement activities.

USPI partners with physicians and healthcare systems to provide ambulatory solutions throughout the United States. The organization emphasizes efficient, clinically excellent surgical services and an inclusive culture that respects differences and supports individual contributions.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions when needed.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to communicate with staff, patients, and physicians.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
