About The Position

The Certified Residential Medication Aid (CRMA) helps ensure residents receive prescribed medications and supports them with personal care and other needs. The role involves providing attentive, compassionate care, maintaining accurate records, following safety and infection-control practices, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. The position is part-time, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and includes shift differentials.

Requirements

• Successfully complete the state competency exam for CRMA certification.
• Hold an active CNA or PSS license.
• Be able to move and assist residents.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate genuine care and empathy for residents’ well-being.
• Accurately record resident information and vital signs.
• Work effectively with healthcare professionals as part of the Wellness team.
• Follow ethical standards and maintain the privacy of resident information.
• Complete a criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their licensed care providers.
• Assist residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Respond promptly and empathetically to residents’ needs.
• Work with other care professionals to support an effective care team.
• Record observations and updates about residents’ conditions accurately.
• Follow safety rules and infection-control measures.
• Participate in training and education to improve caregiving skills.
