About The Position

The Certified Residential Medication Aid (CRMA) helps ensure residents receive prescribed medications and assistance with daily activities and personal care. The role includes responding promptly and compassionately to residents’ needs, documenting observations and changes in residents’ conditions, and working with other care professionals to support effective care. The position is offered part time on either the 6 AM–2 PM or 2 PM–10 PM shift, with shift differentials. An active 40-hour CRMA is required. Criminal background screening is required.

Requirements

• Active 40-hour CRMA.
• Successful completion of the state competency exam for CRMA certification.
• Active CNA or PSS license.
• Ability to move and assist residents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Care and empathy for residents’ well-being.
• Ability to accurately record resident information and vital signs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to follow ethical standards and protect resident privacy.
• Criminal background screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their licensed care providers.
• Assist residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Respond promptly and empathetically to residents’ needs.
• Work with other care professionals to support an effective care team.
• Record observations and updates on residents’ conditions accurately.
• Follow safety rules and infection control measures.
• Participate in training and education to improve caregiving skills.
