About The Position
Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services at Plum Creek Assisted Living in Brunswick, Ohio. The assistant carries out treatment plans designed by an Occupational Therapist, supports patients with therapeutic activities, monitors progress, and helps foster an engaging environment for participation. The role is part of a collaborative, supportive team focused on compassionate, individualized care.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist to improve patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment that encourages patients’ participation in therapy.
