About The Position
Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services at Altercare Navarre in Navarre, Ohio. The assistant carries out treatment plans designed by an Occupational Therapist and helps patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks. The role includes assisting with therapeutic activities such as exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment; monitoring patient progress and sharing feedback with the supervising Occupational Therapist; and fostering a supportive, engaging environment that encourages participation in therapy.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist to improve patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities, including exercises, cognitive training, and use of adaptive equipment.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist for plan adjustments.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment to encourage patients’ participation in therapy.
