About The Position
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant supports occupational therapists in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care by focusing on therapy goals and patient progress. The role assists with therapy sessions and uses AI-supported tools to streamline clinical documentation, reduce administrative work, and enable more hands-on patient interaction. The position is with OhioHealth at Home in partnership with Compassus, serving Southeast Columbus, Ohio.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
- Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state or states of employment.
- Obtain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist with therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
- Use AI technology to ensure clear and accurate documentation of sessions.
