About The Position

Ascension at Home, together with Compassus, is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes. The role helps patients live safely and productively at home, accomplish the daily tasks they want and need to do, and improve their participation in daily activities and quality of life. The assistant works with patients and families to adapt the home environment, modify tasks, and use equipment. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant school with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current state certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
Valid driver’s license.
Current CPR certification, a negative TB screen, and hepatitis consent or declination.
One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in an acute care setting.
Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies.
Good interpersonal skills.
