About The Position
As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a key role in the operating room, supporting surgeons and nurses in delivering exceptional care. You’ll prepare sterile instruments, maintain a safe environment, and ensure everything is ready for successful procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited surgical tech training program.
- National Board of Surgical Technology (NBSTA) Certification must be obtained within 1 year of completion of program.
- High School Diploma
- CPR certification or able to obtain within 60 days
Nice To Haves
- Previous OB experience desired
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgery
- Pass instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and handle specimens
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts
- Clean OR post-procedure and prepare tools for sterilization
