About The Position

The Certified Surgical Tech works in the Surgery department and provides quality patient care. The role requires expertise in understanding and implementing sterile and aseptic technique, along with knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures. The technician uses that knowledge and relevant tools and technology to facilitate physicians during invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist certification, or completion of a surgical tech program with at least 5 years of OR experience.
• Current BLS certification.

• L&D experience preferred.
